Booking & Deposits

To secure Edith (our vintage 1977 Citroën HY van) or our gazebo setup for your date, a non-refundable deposit of 20% is required. Your booking is only confirmed once this deposit has been received and cleared.

Payment Schedule

The remaining balance must be paid in full no later than 14 days before your event date. If payment is not received by this time, we reserve the right to cancel the booking and retain the deposit.

Cancellations & Rescheduling

We understand that plans can change. Our cancellation policy is as follows:

• Cancellations more than 14 days before the event: The deposit is retained, but no further charges apply.

• Cancellations within 14 days of the event: The full balance is non-refundable due to pre-purchased ingredients and lost booking opportunities.

• Rescheduling: We will do our best to accommodate date changes, subject to availability. A small admin fee may apply.

Minimum Spend & Guest Counts

Our packages are based on a minimum of 50 guests. Final guest numbers must be confirmed at least 14 days prior to the event. While we can often increase numbers last minute, we cannot reduce the price if guest numbers drop below the confirmed amount.

Access & Requirements

As Edith is a vintage vehicle, we require:

• Access: A minimum width of 5m and height of 3m to reach the service area.

Dietary Requirements & Allergens

We take food safety seriously. While we offer gluten-free and vegan options, our pizzas are prepared in an environment where flour (gluten) and dairy are present. Please notify us of any severe allergies at least 14 days before the event.

Weather & Force Majeure

We cook come rain or shine! In the rare event of extreme weather (e.g., gale-force winds) that makes it unsafe to operate the van, we will work with you to provide an alternative marquee setup where possible.

Public Liability & Insurance

Simply Doughlicious holds full Public Liability Insurance and a 5-star Food Hygiene Rating. Certificates are available upon request for venue managers.
